1. About This Website

Chemistry Made Easy (chemistrymadeeasy.com) is an independent educational website providing Chemistry revision resources, interactive tools, and tutoring services. This website is operated by passmygcsescience.

By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Exam Board Disclaimer

Chemistry Made Easy is an independent resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any examination board, including but not limited to:

  • AQA (Assessment and Qualifications Alliance)
  • The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO)
  • Pearson Edexcel, OCR, or any other exam body

All exam board names, specification references, and syllabus codes are used solely for the purpose of identifying which curriculum our resources are designed to support. This constitutes fair, descriptive use of those names.

Exam-style questions on this website are original questions written by Chemistry Made Easy, designed to reflect the style and format of past exam papers. They are not taken from, nor endorsed by, any examination board.

3. Digital Products & Service Access

Products and services sold through this website include digital downloads (revision kits, PDF bundles, etc.) and digital service access (the Exam Pass). Neither are physical products.

By completing a purchase of any digital product or the Exam Pass, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are purchasing digital content or access to a digital service that is supplied immediately upon purchase.
  • For digital downloads, delivery begins as soon as the download link becomes available on the Thank You page.
  • For the Exam Pass, service access begins immediately upon account activation following payment.
  • Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (UK), you expressly consent to the supply of digital content and digital services beginning immediately upon purchase, and you acknowledge that your statutory 14-day right to cancel (cooling-off period) is waived once the digital content or service access has begun.

4. Licence & Permitted Use

When you purchase a product from Chemistry Made Easy, you are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the materials for your own private study or teaching purposes.

You may:

  • Download, save, and print the materials for personal use
  • Use the materials to support your own revision or classroom teaching

You may not:

  • Redistribute, resell, or share the files (digitally or physically) with others
  • Upload the materials to any website, file-sharing service, or social media platform
  • Modify the materials and claim them as your own work
  • Use the materials for any commercial purpose without written permission

5. Refund Policy

Because all items sold on Chemistry Made Easy are digital downloads or digital services delivered immediately upon purchase, refunds are generally not offered once content has been accessed or the Exam Pass has been activated.

Digital Downloads (Revision Kits & PDFs): If you experience a genuine technical fault, such as a corrupted file, missing pages, or an accidental duplicate charge, please contact us within 14 days of purchase. We will resolve the issue by providing a working replacement or, at our discretion, issuing a refund.

Exam Pass: The Exam Pass provides instant, unrestricted access to AI Examiner grading, model answers, and interactive tutoring. Because access begins immediately upon purchase, no refunds (full or partial) are offered once purchased, including if you do not use all features or pass duration. If a technical error occurs where payment was taken but access was not granted to your account, please contact us within 14 days and we will ensure your pass is properly activated.

Your statutory rights under UK consumer law are not affected.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website. Including text, images, diagrams, code, tools, PDFs, and branding. Is the intellectual property of Chemistry Made Easy unless otherwise stated.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from this website without prior written consent.

7. Accuracy Disclaimer

While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the information and resources provided, Chemistry Made Easy cannot guarantee that all content is free from errors. Chemistry specifications and syllabuses change over time, and we endeavour to keep our resources up to date.

Chemistry Made Easy accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of our resources, including (but not limited to) exam performance outcomes.

If you spot an error, please let us know and we will correct it promptly.

8. Free Website Content

The free revision notes, tools, and interactive features on this website are provided for educational purposes only. They are offered "as is" without any warranty. We reserve the right to modify, update, or remove any free content at any time without notice.

9. User Accounts & Authentication

Certain features of this website require you to create a free user account. When you register, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information (name, email address)
  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
  • Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised

You may sign in using your email address and password, or by authenticating through a third-party provider (e.g. Google). When using a third-party sign-in, we receive only your name, email address, and profile photo from that provider. We do not receive or store your third-party password.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our discretion, including accounts that violate these terms, are used for fraudulent purposes, or remain inactive for an extended period.

10. Freemium Access Model and Exam Pass

Chemistry Made Easy operates a freemium access model with the following tiers:

  • Guest access (no account): Free access to all revision notes, tools, and exam questions.
  • Registered user access (free account): Unlocks additional features including mark schemes, AI-powered exam marking (subject to weekly quota limits), timed exam mode, and personalised dashboard tracking.
  • Exam Pass (paid, one-time): A single payment that grants 12 calendar months of unlimited access to AI Examiner grading, model answers, interactive AI tutoring, Timed Exam Mode, and the full personal revision dashboard from confirmed payment. The Exam Pass is not a recurring subscription and does not auto-renew. Access expires on the date shown in your account. An early renewal adds 12 calendar months to your existing expiry date. The start of the school year introductory offer is £4.99 for purchases made up to the end of 31 October 2026 (UK time). New purchases from 1 November 2026 cost £19.99. This price change does not alter the access or expiry date of an existing pass.

Service Availability & Third-Party Dependencies: AI-powered features rely on cloud infrastructure and third-party artificial intelligence services (currently Google Gemini). While we aim for high availability, Chemistry Made Easy does not warrant or guarantee that AI-powered features will be uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously available. Features may experience temporary downtime, rate limits, latency, or outages caused by upstream provider maintenance or network conditions.

Right to Modify Features: We reserve the right to improve, modify, update, or discontinue specific AI models, prompt architectures, or features at any time. Changes to AI models, features, or user interfaces do not entitle users to a refund or pass extension.

Free registered accounts do not expire. However, we reserve the right to remove inactive accounts after 12 months of inactivity, with reasonable notice sent to the registered email address.

11. AI-Powered Features & Fair Usage Policy

Our website includes AI-powered features such as the AI Examiner, Full-Marks Model Answers, and Interactive AI Tutor. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-generated marks, feedback, and model answers are indicative revision aids only and do not constitute official examination marking or grade certification.
  • AI responses are generated automatically and may contain inaccuracies. They should not be relied upon as the sole basis for revision or academic decisions.
  • The AI features are provided "as is" without warranty of correctness or pedagogical completeness.
  • Answers you submit are processed securely by third-party AI services (Google Gemini) to generate feedback.
  • You must not submit personally identifiable information, confidential data, malicious prompts, or non-educational content into AI input fields.

Fair Usage Policy: The Exam Pass is intended solely for personal, individual revision by one student. To protect system performance for all users, you agree not to:

  • Share, lend, or transfer your login credentials to third parties or other students.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or browser extensions to generate bulk AI queries.
  • Attempt prompt injection, reverse-engineering of system instructions, or circumvention of usage controls.

We reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate access without refund if an account exhibits abusive, automated, or shared usage patterns.

Chemistry Made Easy accepts no liability for any academic or exam outcomes resulting from reliance on AI-generated feedback.
